AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 2.0 ACRE TRACT OUT OF TRACT A -50 IN THE J.E. SCOTT LEAGUE,
COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE
INTERSECTION OF CHURCH STREET AND NAGLE STREET FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
C -1 TO APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT R -6.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M.,
on Thursday, May 8, 1980, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all of that 2.0 acre tract out of Tract
No. A -50 in the J.E. Scott League in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the north corner of the said tract, S 44 ° 34'48" E for a distance
of 248.00 feet;
THENCE S 45 0 19'05" W for a distance of 351.29 feet;
THENCE N 44 0 34'48" W for a distance of 248.00 feet;
THENCE N 45 0 19'05" E for a distance of 351.29 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and
containing 2.0 acres of land, more or less, from General Commercial District C -1
to Apartment Building District R -6.
AND, it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
