AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 23.90 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT
LEAGUE, AND BEING A PART OF THAT 48.56 ACRE TRACT CONVEYED TO WILLIAM D. FITCH
BY DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 353, PAGE 717 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY,
r► TEXAS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM
AGRICULTURAL/OPEN DISTRICT A-0 TO APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT R-4.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M.
on Thursday, September 13, 1979 on the question of rezoning certain areas
within the City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classifiaction of all that 23.90 acre tract of land
lying and being situated in the Crawford Burnett League in College Station,
Texas, being a part of that 48.56 acre tract conveyed to William D. Fitch
by deed recorded in Volume 353, page 717 of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas and being more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING in the southeast line of the said 48.56 acre tract at the south-
erly corner of that 11.30 acre tract conveyed to the City of College Station
by deed recorded in Volume 387, page 848 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas;
THENCE N 50002'07" W -- 424.36 feet along the southwest line of the said 11.30
acre tract to the center of the south branch of Bee Creek;
THENCE up the centerline of the south branch of Bee Creek as follows:

Creek intersects the southwest line of the said 48.56 acre tract;
THENCE S 47041'12" E -- 776.81 feet along the southwest line of the said 48.56
acre tract to the southeast line of same;
THENCE N 46051'38" E -- 1937.54 feet along the southeast line of the said 48.56
acre tract to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 23.90 acres of land, more
or less, from Agricultural/Open District A-0 to Apartment Building District R-4.
And it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediatley.
