AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 885; SETTING ASSESSMENT FOR
GARBAGE DISPOSAL IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
Ordinance No. 885, Section 8, is hereby amended to read as
follows:

There shall be charges, assessed and collected from each
person, firm or corporation within the city limits the following
monthly assessment charges for garbage disposal:
Each dwelling unit (single or multi -family).... $3.50
Small appliance shops, cleaning establishments
filling station, photographic shops, etc ..... $17.00
Large places of business and all schools
shall be charged by the container:
2 yard container ................... $37.90
3 yard container ................... $47.80
6 yard container ................... $77.50
Payments must be received at the City Utility Office on or
before the due date to avoid late charges. Payments received
after the due date will be assessed a penalty equaling 10% of
the current month charges with a minimum charge of $3.00.
