HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-1138 - Ordinance - 11/09/1978ORDINANCE NO. 1138 AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A UTILITY EASEMENT, BEING A PART OF TRACT 1, BLOCK D OF CULPEPPER PLAZA, SAID PLAT BEING RECORDED IN VOLUME 278, PAGE 39, OF THE DEED RECORDS, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the owners of the herein described property have requested that it be abandoned; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas has de- termined that it is in the best interest of the City that the herein described property be abandoned; IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED, that all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Richard Carter League in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that tract described in the dedication recorded in Volume 278, Page 39, of the Deed Records, Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of Tract 1, Block D of Culpepper Plaza; THENCE S45003'18"W, along the south right-of-way line of Dominik Drive, a distance of 20.00 feet to the point of beginning; THENCE S46052'23"E, a distance of 619.45 feet to a PFAC, said point also lying in the north right-of-way line of University Oaks Drive; THENCE N45042'12"E, a distance of 2.00 feet along the north right-of-way line of University Oaks Drive to a PFAC; THENCE N46052'23", a distance of 619.47 feet to a PFAC, said point also lying in the south right-of-way line of Dominik Drive; THENCE S45003'18"W, a distance of 2.00 feet along the south right-of-way line of Dominik Drive to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 0.03 acres of land more or less, be vacated.
