AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN TRACTS AND LOTS IN THE COONER AND COLLEGE HEIGHTS
ADDITIONS AS SPECIFIED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM APARTMENT BUILDING
DISTRICT R-6 TO ADMINISTRATIVE/PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT A-P, GENERAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT C-1, AND APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT R-5.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M.
on Thursday, September 14, 1978 on the question of rezoning certain areas
within the city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the followin:
To rezone or change the classification of certain lots and tracts located in the
Cooner Addition according to plats filed in Volume 102, page 151 and Volume 124,
page 553 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas and of the College Heights
Addition according to plat filed in Volume 124, page 259 of the Deed Records of
Brazos County, Texas and being enumerated as follows:
Lots 1 & 2, Block F; College Heights Addition;
Lots 3 - 12, Block A; College Heights Addition; rezone from Apartment Building
District R-6 to Administrative/Professional District A-P;
Lots 2 - 19, Block 1; Cooner Addition;
Lots 8 - 11, Block 2; Cooner Addition;
Lots 1 - 5, Block 3; Cooner Addition;
Lots 1 & 2, Block 4; Cooner Addition;
A tract located at 401 Jane Street; rezone from Apartment Building District R-6 to
Apartment Building District R-5;
Lots 2, 3 & 7, Block 2; Cooner Addition;
A tract located at 405 Jane Street; rezone from Apartment Building District R-6
to General Commercial District C-1.
And, it is ordained that said changes shall be effective immediately.
