HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-1076 - Ordinance - 05/26/1977ORDINANCE NO. 1076 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 850 AND ORDINANCE NO. 996, REVISING THE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND ALLOWABLE DENSITIES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 26, 1977 on the question of amending Ordinance No. 850 and Ordinance No. 996; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend Ordinance No. 850 and Ordinance No. 996; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: The Zoning Ordinance No. 850 is hereby amended to read as follows: Amend Section 5-F DISTRICT R-3 - APARTMENT BUILDINGS: to read, "5-F DISTRICT R-6 - APARTMENT BUILDINGS/HIGH DENSITY: Amend Section 5-G DISTRICT R-4 - TOWNHOUSE- ROWHOUSE: to read, "5-G - DISTRICT R-3 - TOWNHOUSE - ROWHOUSE: Amend Section 5-H DISTRICT R-5 - MOBILE HOME PARK: to read, "5-H - DISTRICT R-7 - MOBILE HOME PARK: Delete Apartments from Section 5-I.2. Delete Apartment dwelling units from Section 5-J.2. Ordinance No. 996 is amended as follows: Amend Section 5-P DISTRICT R-6 - APARTMENTS/MEDIUM DENSITY:. to read, "5-P - DISTRICT R-5 - APARTMENTS/MEDIUM DENSITY: Amend Section 5-Q DISTRICT R-7 APARTMENTS/LOW DENSITY: to read, "5-Q - DISTRICT R-4 - APARTMENTS/LOW DENSITY: The District Use Schedule - TABLE A shall be amended to read as follows: DISTRICT R-1 Single Family R-2 Duplex R-6 Apartments/High Density R-3 Townhouse-Rowhouse R-7 Mobile Home Park R-5 Apartments/Medium Density R-4 Apartments/Low Density MAXIMUM NET DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE 6.0 10.0 Determined by Conditional Use Permit and approved by City Council 14.0 See Mobile Home Park Ordinance 24.0 16.0 This Ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days after date of approval and pnb-l-ication.
