AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN TRACTS OF LAND IN THE RICHARD CARTER LEAGUE MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT
R-3 TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on
Thursday, August 26, 1976 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the
city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of those certain tracts of land in the
Richard Carter League, College Station, Brazos County, Texas described as follows:
All of those areas of the Prairie View Heights Subdivision as listed:
Block

Lots
1-8
Block
2,
Lots
1-14
Block
3,
Lots
1-7
Block
4,
Lots
5-20
Block
5,
Lots
1-12
All of Lots 1-12 of the Lauterstien Subdivision;
All of Lots 1-42 of the Pasler Subdivision;
All of Lots 5&6 of the D. A. Smith Subdivision;
All of those areas in the D. A. Smith and L. D. Smith Subdivisions shown on the
map included as part of this ordinance.
FURTHERMORE, special provision shall be made to exempt all those lots included
in this ordinance and shown on the accompanying map as they are subdivided by
plat as of the date of this ordinance from the building restrictions concerning
minimum lot area, width, and depth only as prescribed in the District Use Schedule -
Table A of Ordinance No. 850.
And it is ordained that the said changes shall be effective immediately.
