AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 853 AND ESTABLISHING EFFECTIVE DATES FOR APPLICATIOT
FOR THE $3,000.00 EXEMPTION OF THE ASSESSED VALUATION OF RESIDENCE HOMESTEADS OF PERSON:
SIXTY-FIVE (65) YEARS OF AGE AND OVER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
That Ordinance No. 853 is hereby amended by the addition of a new paragraph:
3. The Exemption shall be effective only if application is made each year
during the rendition period (City Charter Section 85) between January lst
and April 1st, by all eligible taxpayers.
Effective date of this ordinance shall be January 1, 1976.
