SCOTT LEAGUE AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, DISTRICT R-lC, TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, DISTRICT C-1, AND APARTMENT BUILDING DISTRICT, DISTRICT R-3 AS SPECIFIED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:'' WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, June 24, 1974 on the question on rezoning certain areas within the city limits; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following: To rezone or change the classification of those certain tracts of land in the City of College Station described as follows: TRACT ONE: A 7.929 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the J. E. Scott League, College Station, Brazos County, Texas and being a part of the tract of land called 19.08 acres in the deed recorded in Volume 325, page 739 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 19.08 acre tract being part of the Polo Park Place Addition to the City of College Station, Texas, plat of the said addition being recorded in Volume 106, page 1 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point for corner, said point being located at the southwest corner of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition, said point also marking the southeast corner or a 44.0 acre tract of land described in the deed recorded in Volume 310, page 500 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said point being located in the northwest right-of-way line of Farm to Market Road No. 60; THENCE N 42027'31" W along the common line of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition and the 44.0 acre tract for a distance of 676.79 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 47010'03" E for a distance of 489.00 feet to an iron rod for corner, said iron rod marking an interior ell corner of the beforementioned 19.08 acre tract; THENCE S 45027143" E for a distance of 686.75 feet to a point for corner, said point being located in the southeast line of the before mentioned Polo Park Place Addition, same being the northwest right--of-way line of Farm to Market Road No. 60; THENCE S 48010140" W along the above mentioned southeast line and northwest right-of-way line for a distance of 525.0 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing 7.929 acres of land more or less from Single Family Residential District, District R-lC to General Commercial District, District C-1; and :9 ORDINANCE NO. 923 Page 2 TRACT TWO: A 2.469 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the J. E. Scott League, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being part of the tract of land called 19.08 acres in the deed recorded in Volume 325, page 739 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 19.08 acre tract being part of the Polo Park Place Addition to the City of College Station, Texas, plat of said Addition being recorded in Volume 106, page 1 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron rod set for corner, said iron rod marking the northwest corner of the above mentioned 19.08 acre tract, said iron rod also marking the northwest corner of the above mentioned Polo Park Place Addition, said iron rod being located in the northeast line of a 44.0 acre tra.tt desbribed in the deed recorded in Volume 310, page 500 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas; THENCE N 47008'04" E along the northwest line of the above mentioned 19.08 acre tract and Polo Park Place Addition for a distance of 489.50 feet to an iron rod set for corner; THENCE S 42018'57" E along a northeast line of the above mentioned 19.08 acre tract for a distance of 220.0 feet to an iron rod set for corner; THENCE S 47010'03" E for a distance of 489.0 feet to a point for corner, said point being located in the northwest line of the above mentioned 19.08 acre tract and the Polo Park Place Addition, said point being located in the before mentioned northeast line of the 44.0 acre tract; THENCE N 42027'31" W along the common line of the 19.08 acre tract, Polo Park Place Addition, and the 44.0 acre tract for a distance of 219.71 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing 2.469 acres of land more or less from Single Family Residential District, District R-lC to Apartment Building District, District R-3; and TRACT THRRE! A 8.191 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the J. E. Scott League, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being part df the tract of land called 19.08 acres in the deed recorded in Volume 325, page 739 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, said 19.08 acre tracts being part of the Polo Park Place Addition to the City of College Station, Texas, plat of said Addition being recorded in Volume 106, page 1 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly desbribed as follows: BEGINNING at an iron rod set at a corner post for corner, said iron rod marking the southeast corner of the above mentioned 19.08 acre tract, said iron rod being located in the northwest right-of-way line of Farm to Market Road No. 60, same being the southeast line of the abovementioned Polo Park Place Addition. THENCE along the northeast line of the above mentioned 19.08 acre tract for the following calls: N 42*19120" W for a distance of 200.00 feet to an iron rod set for an angle point; N 42°18'37" W for a distance of 494.84 feet to an iron rod set for corner; THENCE S 47010'03" W along the northwest line of the beforementioned 19.08 tract for a distance of 535.82 feet to an iron rod set for corner; OZ4 75 ORDINANCE NO. 923 Page 3 THENCE S 45027143" E for a distance of 686.75 feet to a point for corner, said point being located in the beforementioned northwest right-of-way line of Farm to Market Road No. 60, same being the southeast line of the beforementioned Polo Park Place Addition; THENCE N 48010'40" E along the above mentioned northwest right-of-way line and southeast line for a distance of 498.10 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing 8.191 acres of land more or less from Single Family Residential District, District R-lC to Apartment Building District, District R-3.
