AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 3.53 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE
STARLINE RIDGE SUBDIVISION FROM DISTRICT R-1C, SINGLE FAMILY RESI-
DENTIAL DISTRICT, TO DISTRICT C-N, NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT,
AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY
OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P. M. on
Monday, March 26, 1973, onthe question of rezoning certain areas within the city
limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or parcel of land lying
and being situated in the Richard Carter League in College Station, Brazos County,
Texas, being parts of a 13.54 acre tract conveyed to Pauline Putz Higgins by deed
recorded in Volume 287, Page 814 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas,
and also being a part of a 13.54 acre tract of land conveyed to Sylvia Putz Willingham
by deed recorded in Volume 287, Page 817 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron rod in the southeast right-of-way line of FM 60 (University
. Drive) at the common corner of the said Pauline Putz Higgins tract and Tract
No. 3 of the Putz Division;
Thence N 630 13' E along the right-of-way line of University Drive 94.4 feet to an
iron rod;
Thence N 720 27' E along the right-of-way line of University Drive 558.2 feet to an
iron rod;
Thence S 1.40 51' E 167.5 feet to a point;
Thence S 620 10' W 542 feet to a point along the southwest boundary line of Tract No. 4
(Pauline Putz Higgins);
Thence N 450 28' W 280 feet along said boundary line to the point of beginning and con-
taining 3.53 acres of land more or less from District R-1C, Single Family Residential,
to District C-N, Neighborhood Business District, and it is ordained that said change
be effective immediately.
