AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 5.00 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE RICHARD
CARTER LEAGUE, FROM DISTRICT NO. 1, FIRST DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT TO
DISTRICT NO. 4, FIRST BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P. M. on April 24,
1972, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city limits,
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all that certain tract or parcel of land
described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the north -west line of University Drive and the north-
east line of Tarrow Street;
Thence along the north -west line of University Drive as follows:
N 45 32' 59" E a distance of 17.32 feet;
N 48 56' 43" E a distance of 158.32 feet
N 51 32' 04" E a distance of 307.9 feet;
N 61 32' 04" E a distance of 307.85 feet;
N 50 56' 38" E a distance of 15.41 feet to an iron rod for the POINT OF BEGINNING of this tract;
Thence N 44 05' 05" W a distance of 649. 31 feet to an iron rod in the southeast line of Tarrow Stred
Thence N 8 31' 30" E a distance of 354.93 feet along the southeast line of Tarrow Street;
Thence S 44 05' 05" E a distance of 918.28 feet to the northwest line of University Drive;
Thence S 68 29' 20" W a distance of 92.07 feet along the northwest lin V eor versity Drive;
Thence S 50 56' 38" W a distance of 197.12 feet continuing along the nt line of University
Drive to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 5.00 acres of land less from Distr ict
No. 1, First Dwelling House District to District No. 4, First Busi ss )jistrictl and it is ordained
