AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE QUESTION OF REZONING
A 5.00 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE RICHARD CARTER LEAGUE, FROM
DISTRICT NO. 1, FIRST DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT TO DISTRICT NO. 4, FIRST
+' BUSINESS DISTRICT, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND
BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that all
land described herein be rezoned from District No. 1, First Dwelling House District
to District No. 4, First Business District;
It is hereby ordered that a public hearing shall be held at the City Hall in
College Station, Texas at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 24, 1972, on the question of
rezoning certain areas within the city limits as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the north -west line of University Drive and
the north -east line of Tarrow Street;
Thence along the north -west line of University Drive as follows:
N 45 32' 59" E a distance of 17.32 feet;
N 48 56' 43" E a distance of 158.32 feet;
N 51 32' 04" E a distance of 307. 9 feet;
N 61 32' 04" E a distance of 307. 85 feet;
N 50 56' 38" E a distance of 15.41 feet to an iron rod for the POINT OF BEGINNING
of this tract;
Thence N 44 05' 05" W a distance of 649.31 feet to an iron rod in the southeast
line of Tarrow Street;
Thence N 8 31' 30" E a distance of 354. 93 feet along the southeast line of Tarrow Street;
Thence S 44 05' 05" E a distance of 918.28 feet to the northwest line of University Drive;
Thence S 68 29' 20" W a distance of 92. 07 feet along the northwest line of University Drive
Thence S 50 56' 38" W a distance of 197.12 feet continuing along the northwest line of
University Drive to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 5.00 acres of land more or
less, from District No. 1, First Dwelling House District to District No. 4, First Business
District.

Notice of said public hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general cir-
culation in the City of College Station at least three times, the first publication of
which shall not be less than 15 days prior to the dated fixed for the hearing.
