Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
July 27, 1976
7:30 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Mike Weiss; Members Sandra Runnles, John
Hughey, Janet Storts; Council Liaison Larry Ringer;
Building Official Bill Koehler
MEMBERS ABSENT: Tom Comstock
VISITORS PRESENT: 0. M. Holt, Bill Phillips, J. C. Culpepper
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M.
Agenda Item No. 1 -- Consideration of a request for a variance from the front
setback requirement from College Station Savings Association.
Mr. Koehler explained that the request was to construct a temporary building
beyond the front setback, that the tract was unusual due to the 70 foot
distance from back of curb to property line and that there appeared to be no
technical probl..em in the proposed construction.
Mr. Holt discussed the necessity of commencing business while the permanent
construct was in progress on the site.
Chairman Weiss moved that the variance be granted. The motion was seconded
by Mrs. Runnels and unanimously approved.
Agenda Item No. 2 -- Other business.
The Board directed the Building Official to attempt to arrange a meeting on
August 10, or failing that, August 3, or if necessary August 16.
Agenda Item No. 3 -- Adiourn.
There being no other business the meeting was adjourned.
