Zoning Board of Adjustment
April 22, 1975
7:00 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairperson Fredda Austin, Members Glen Jones, James Teer,
Wayne Etter, Kathy Leabo, Building Official L. P. Dulaney,
City Planner Bill Koehler.
MEMBERS ABSENT: None.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
Consideration of a zone .change request from R. C. Potts. Mr. Larry Priesmeyer
explained that this request would clear an old existing out-building and would
cause the structure to conform to the setback of many other existing houses
in the area.
Neighbors expressed concern for saving the oak tree in the alley and preserving
the ability of garbage trucks to travel in the alley. Mr, Priesmeyer acting
for the owners, agreed to both stipulations.
Mrs. B. J. Kling, Mrs. Claycamp, Fred Garner and Mike Murphy stated that they
were not opposed to the variance in that most of the homes in the area were
built prior to the present ordinance without the setback now required.
Mrs. Leabo moved that the variance be granted. The motion was seconded by
Mr. Etter and unanimously approved.
There being no other business, the meeting was adjourned.
