E-mail Policy (Connie) 4. College Main Parking Garage Grand Opening (Kelley) 5. Other 1. TAMU Projects: Chuck Sippial, Tony Williams, Doug Williams, Angela Newman, and Paul Landis of Texas A&M University reported on upcoming TAMU projects and their goals for on campus transportation. A&M is constructing new parking lots and a garage to help concentrate parking on the west side of the campus. On football game day Welborn Road will be closed at the beginning of the fourth quarter of the game and remain closed until traffic has cleared the area. All TAMU traffic related projects and maps can be accessed via their website at www.ptts.tamu.edu . Tom Brymer, City Manager, asked staff to be prepared for any impact the projects may have on surrounding neighborhoods. 2. Agenda Planning Calendar: The calendar was briefly reviewed and items were added, rescheduled, and removed. 3. E-mail Policy: Not discussed. Will be rescheduled. 4. College Main Parking Garage Grand Opening: The grand opening of the parking garage will be held Saturday August 25th from 11:00 - 12:00 noon on the top floor of the garage. 5. Other: ➢ Ethics: Tom briefly discussed ethics and the City's role in making employees aware of the proper on-the-job ethics. He mentioned the possibility of adding the topic to new hire orientation. ➢ AS400: Linda Piwonka, OTIS Director, reported that the AS400 will be down for repairs from August 24th - 26th. MIS will be installing new drives and reloading software.
