went to two ROTG Summer Gamps in 197Q (Ft. Knox} and 1971 (Ft.
Riley}, commissioned in 1972, and was only on active duty for 3
months during 1973 for QMC officer basic at Ft. Lee. I was then on
inactive reserve status fro several years, got promoted to 1st Lt., and
was honorably discharged. Pretty non eventful compared to my O-6
friends, Bill and Steve.
Thanks for honoring those who sacrificed a lot during their service
careers. I served and was happy to do so but did not sacrifice much.
