ORDINANCE NO. 2849
AN ORDINANCE RENAMING MARION PUGH DRIVE FROM HARVEY MITCHELL
P ARKW A Y TO DOWLING ROAD WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF COLLEGE
STATION, TO JONES-BUTLER ROAD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1:
The subject section of Marion Pugh Drive will connect Jones-Butler Road
north of FM 2818 to Jones-Butler Road south of Dowling Road.
PART 2:
Using a single street name (i.e., Jones-Butler Road) will simplify
navigation in the area.
PART 3:
That there are no properties currently addressed off of this section of
Marion Pugh Drive.
PART 4:
PART 5:
That this proposed street renaming meets the guidelines of the public
facilities naming policy.
That this ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days after the date of
passage by the City Council, as provided by Section 34 of the Charter of
the City of College Station.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this twenty-second day of November 2005.
