ORDINANCE NO. 2846
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, "TRAFFIC CODE", OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY AMENDING
CERTAIN SECTIONS AS SET OUT BELOW; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
DECLARING A PENALTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:

That Chapter 10, "Traffic Code", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a
part of this ordinance for all purposes.
That if any provisions of any section of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such holding shall in no way effect the validity of the remaining
provisions or sections of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and
effect.
That any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this
chapter shall be deemed liable for a civil offense and/or guilty of a Class C
misdemeanor, and, upon a finding of liability thereof, shall be punished by a civil
penalty of not less than Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Two
Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00), or upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a
fine of not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Five Hundred
Dollars ($500.00). Said Ordinance becomes effective November 22, 2005, and at
least ten (10) days after its publication in the newspaper, as provided by Section
34 of the Charter of the City of College Station,
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 22nd day of November, 2005.

EXHIBIT "A"
That Chapter 10, "Traffic Code", Section 4.E(3)(a), "NO PARKING HERE TO CORNER", of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station, Texas, is hereby amended, by adding
paragraph (v) as set out hereafter to read as follows:
(v) "On the south side of Boswell Street, from its intersection with Langford Street and
extending west 75 feet."
