ley from pioneer life and the cre-
ation of Texas A&M University to
the modern growth of Bryan and
College Station.
The hardback coffee table
book, Historic Brazos County: An
Illustrated History is a publication
of the Brazos Heritage Society and
contains dozens of photographs
from the county's past and Ares-
ent. Most of the photographs are t
from collections of the Texas A&M
Cushing Memorial Library and
Archives and the Carnegie Center
of Brazos Valley History.
The book also contains historic v
profiles of 34 businesses, organi-
zations and families that have ,. "
contributed to the development of
the county.
