The Brenham Cubettes, who won the Class 4A state championship,
placed four players on The Eagle's 9th Annual All -Brazos Valley Softball
Team. Brenham coach Wade Wilson also was voted by his peers as The
Eagle's Coach of the Year. The Franklin Lady Lions placed three on the

Haley Long, Franklin shortstop Sara DeStefano, Brenham pitcher Megan
Winkelmann, Franklin pitcher Larissa Martin, Wilson, Franklin first base-
man Kayce Walker, Caldwell pitcher Brandi Crnkovic and Brenham sec-
