in the making" will be available
for pubiic viewing from 11 a.m. to
9 p.m. on March 16 at the home of
Mrs. Ross Todaro, 714 E. 29th St.
A completed St. Joseph's Altar
will be available for viewing from
4 -7 p.m. on March 19 at the St.
Anthony Parish Center, 306 S.
Parker Ave.
Todaro was one of many local
Italians who have worked for the
past few weeks baking and
preparing a St. Joseph's Altar.
The celebration of the St.
Joseph's Altars on or near March
19 is an ancient Sicilian tradition
about faith, feasting and family.
These three values are cherished
in the Sicilian lifestyle.
The Feast of St. Joseph is one of
their more celebrated church hol-
idays.
