AN ORDINANCE (BUDGET AMENDMENT 1) AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2145
WHICH WILL AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 1995-96 FISCAL YEAR AND AUTHORIZING
AMENDED EXPENDITURES AS THEREIN PROVIDED.
WHEREAS, an amended budget for the fiscal year October 1, 1995 to September 30, 1996,
was prepared for Council consideration;
WHEREAS, on February 8, 1996, the Council called a public hearing for February 22, 1996,
and notice of such hearing was published in the newspaper on February 15, 1996, in
compliance with the Charter of the City of College Station;
WHEREAS, a public headng was held on February 22, 1996, and at said hearing the Council
received a recommendation to amend the budget;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend the 1995-96 Fiscal Year Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
That the amended revenues budgeted for fiscal year 1995-96 for the Electric Fund is
$33,297,212; for the Wastewater Utility Revenue Captital Projects Bond Fund is
$176,200 and for the Cedar Creet Apartments Fund is $1,695,000, and
I1.
That the amended expenditures budgeted for fiscal year 1994-95 for the Electric Fund is
$34,34,956, for theWastewater Utility Revenue Captital Projects Bond Fund is
$4,396,200 and for the Cedar Creet Apartments Fund is $893,700, and
II1.
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the
City Charter of the City of College Station, Texas.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS THE 22ND DAY OF FEBRUARY 1996.
