HomeMy WebLinkAbout1997-2262 - Ordinance - 08/28/1997ORDINANCE NO. 2 2 6 2 AN ORDINANCE (BUDGET AMENDMENT 2) AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2207 WHICH WILL AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 1996-97 FISCAL YEAR AND AUTHORIZING AMENDED EXPENDITURES AS THEREIN PROVIDED. WHEREAS, a bud[~_t for the fiscal year October 1, 1996 to September 30_1997, was prepared for Council consideration; WHEREAS, on August 1, 1997, the City Council called a public hearing for August 12, 1997, and notice of such hearing was published in the newspaper on August 6, 1997, in compliance with the Charter of the City of College Station; WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 12, 1997, and at said hearing the Council received a recommendation to amend the budget; WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend the 1996-97 Fiscal Year Budget; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: That the amended revenues budgeted for fiscal year 1996-97 for the Economic Development Fund is $1,526,290, and I1. That the amended expenditures budgeted for fiscal year 1996-97 for the Economic Development Fund is $1,327,917 II1. This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the City Charter of the City of ._College Station, Texas. The hours designated for early voting by personal appearance shall be fi.om 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on each day, except Saturdays, Sundays and official state holidays, beginning Monday, October 20, 1997 and ending Friday, October 31, 1997. The early voting locations will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 30 and 31, 1997.
