AN ORDINANCE (BUDGET AMENDMENT 3) AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2145
WHICH WILL AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 1995-96 FISCAL YEAR AND AUTHORIZING
AMENDED EXPENDITURES AS THEREIN PROVIDED.
WHEREAS, an amended budget for the fiscal year October 1, 1995 to September 30, 1996,
was prepared for Council consideration;
WHEREAS, on August 8, 1996, the Council called a public hearing for August 29, 1996, and
notice of such hearing was published in the newspaper on August 22, 1996, in compliance with
the Charter of the City of College Station;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 29, 1996, and at said hearing the Council
received a recommendation to amend the budget;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend the 1995-96 Fiscal Year Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
I. That the amended revenues budgeted for fiscal year 1995-96 for the Cedar Creek Fund
is $1,792,600, and for the Water Utility Fund is $7,072,000.
II. That the amended expenditures budgeted for fiscal year 1995-96 for the Cedar Creek
Fund is $1,792,600, for the Water Fund is $6,154,970, the Hotel/Motel Fund is
$1,802,452 and for the Northgate Revitalizaton Fund is $350,000.
II1. This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the
City Charter of the City of College Station, Texas.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS THE 29TH DAY OF AUGUST 1996.
