AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 2251 CREATING TAX
ABATEMENT ZONE NUMBER 4.
WHEREAS, on August 1, 1997, the City Council approved Tax Reinvestment Zone
Number Four (4) by Ordinance No. 2251; and
WHEREAS, the property has never been conveyed to U.C.S. and remains vacant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION:
That the City Council hereby finds that Lot One (1), Block Six (6) of Phase Two of the
Business Center at College Station, has never been conveyed to U.C.S. and is still owned by
the City of College Station.
II.
That the City hereby dissolves Reinvestment Zone Number Four (4) and its boundaries as
described in Ordinance No. 2251, and the ordinance creating such zone is hereby repealed
and shall be null and void and have no further force and effect.
