AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A TEN (10) FOOT WIDE PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENT, LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE MORGAN RECTOR
SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 46, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND
BEING PART OF LOT 1- 2.04 ACRES, BLOCK 1, DARTMOUTH ADDITION ACCORDING
TO PLAT RECORDED ]IV VOLUME 3086, PAGE 38, OF THE OFFICIAL RECORDS OF
BRAZES COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY
EXHIBIT "A".
WHEREAS, thc City of College Station has received an application for thc abandonment of a ten
(10) foot wide public utility easement, lying and being situated within Lot 1, Block 1, Dartmouth
Addition, in thc City of College Station, Bravos County, Texas said portion being more
particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, on April 8, 1999, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, heard the
application of Emanual H. Gleckzin Jr. for the vacation and abandonment of the aforementioned
ten (10) foot wide public utility easement that liez within Lot 1, Block 1, Damnouth Addition,
according to the plat recorded in Volume 3086, Page 38, of the Official Re~rds of Brazes County,
Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas,
that the ten (10) foot wide strip of land previously platted as a public utility easement, which lies
within the Morgan Rector Survey, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brazes County, Texas and
more particularly described by Exhibit "A" attaeh~ hereto, be abandoned and vacated.

Field notes of a 10' wide strip of land, lying and being situated in the
Morgan Rector-Survey, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brazos County,
Texas, and being part of Lot 1 - 2.04 Acres, Block 1, Dartmouth Addition
according to the plat recorded in Volume 3068, Page 38, of the Official
Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the ~" iron rod found marking the common corner
between the beforementioned Lot 1 - 2.04 Acres, Block 1, Dartmouth Addition
and Lot 1 - 1.00 Acre, Block 1, Dartmouth Crossing according to the plat
recorded in Volume 3127, Page 15, of the Official Records of Brazos County,
Texas, said ½" iron rod being in the southeast right-of-way line of Southwest
Parkway;
THENCE S 47° 55' 12" E along the common line between Lot 1 - 2.04
Acres Dartmouth Addition, and Lot I - 1.00 Acre Dartmouth Crossing for a
distance of 197.49 feet to a ~" iron rod found marking the common southerly
corner between the said Lot 1 - 2.04 Acres Dartmouth Addition and Lot 1 -
1.00 Acre Dartmouth Crossing said ~" iron rod being in the northwest line of
Lot 2 - 7.89 Acres, Block 1 Dartmouth Addition;
THENCE S 42° 05' 13" W along the common line between Lot 1 - 2.04
Acres Dartmouth Addition, and Lot 2 - 7.89 Acres Dartmouth Addition for a
distance of 10.00 feet to a 1" x 2" wooden stake;
THENCE N 47° 55' 12" W 198.16 feet to a 1" x 2" wood stake st in
the southeast right-of-way line of Southwest Parkway;
THENCE N 45° 53' 57" E along the southeast right-of-way line of
Southwest Parkway, for a distance of 10.02 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING,
containing 0.05 acres of land, more or less.
