HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-2442 - Ordinance - 04/13/2000ORDINANCE NO. 2442 AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A 0.0480 ACRE PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT, LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE, A-17, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING PART OF THE 1.3978 ACRE TRACT DESCRIBED IN DEED RECORDS IN VOLUME 778, PAGE 143 OF THE OFFICIAL RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY EXHIBIT "A." WHEREAS, the City of College Station has received an application for the abandonment of a 0.0480 acre public utility easement, lying and being situated within the Crawford Burnett League, A-17 in the City of College Station, Brazos County, Texas said portion being more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and WHEREAS, on April 13, 2000, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, heard the application of Mr. Michael W. Divin for the vacation and abandonment of the aforementioned 0.0480 acre public utility easement that lies within the Crawford Burnett League, A-17, College Station, Brazos County, Texas and being part of the 1.3978 acre tract described in deed records in Volume 778, Page 143, of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, that the 0.0480 acre public utility easement, which lies within the Crawford Burnett League, A-17, College Station, Brazos County, Texas and more particularly described by Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be abandoned and vacated.
