5N ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3, "BUILDING REGULATIONS" OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITX OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, BY
AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS AS SET OUT BELOW; PROVIDING A SE\~_~RABILITY
CLAUSE; AND DECLARING A PENAL'Dx'.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TE_XL-kS:
PART1
That Chapter 3, "Building Regulations" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
College Station, Texas, be amended as set out in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
made a part of this ordinance for all purposes.
PART 2:
That if any provisions of any secuon of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitunonal, such holding shall in no xvay effect the validity of the remaining
provisions or secuons of this ordinance, wNch shall remain in full force and effect.
PART 3:
That any person, firm, or corporauon violating any of the provisions of this chapter
shall be deemed guilt3., of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be
pumshable by a fine of not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than
Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00). Each day such violation shall cont,nue or be
permitted to continue shall be deemed a separate offense. Said Ord,nance, being a
penal ordinance, becomes effective immediately after its p~sage by the City Counc,1,
as provided by Section 35 of the Charter of the City of College Station and shall
expire on February 11, 2000, at 5:00 p.m.

EXHIBIT "A"
That Chapter 3, "Building Regulations", of the Code of Ordinances of the Cit3, of College Station,
Texas, ts hereby amended by amending Section I by adding a new Subsection J-5 to read as follows:
j. MOILA. TORIUM ON CERTAIN APPLICATIONS
It shall be specifically alloxved that existing structures may be replaced so long as the
number of structures per lot or parcel is not increased."
