AN ORDINANCE (BUDGET AMENDMENT t) AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
WHICH WILL AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 1998-1999 FISCAL YEAR
AUTHORIZING AMENDED EXPENDITURES AS THEREIN PROVIDED.

AND
WHEREAS, a budget for the fiscal year October 1, 1998 to September 30, 1999, was prepared
for Council consideration;
WHEREAS, on June 10, 1999, the Council called a public hearing for June 24, 1999, and notice
of such hearing was published in the newspaper on June 16. in compliance with the Charter of
the City of College Station;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 24, 1999, and at said hearing the Council
received a recommendation to amend the budget;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend the 1998-99 Fiscal Year Budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
I. That the amended revenues budgeted for fiscal year 1998-99 for the General Fund is
$25,378,973, and for the Capital Projects Funds is $18,103,730, and
II. That the amended expenditures budgeted for fiscal year 1998-99 for the General Fund
is $27,212,515, and for the Utility Funds is $55.110,298, and for the Internal Service
Funds is $6,431,148, and for the Capital Projects Funds is $21,066,077, and for the
Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency is $6,677,695, and
III. This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage in accordance with the
City Charter of the City of College Station, Texas.
