A CONCURRENT ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, Texas, will meet at the City Hall,
College Station, Texas, at 5:00 p.m. on the 6th day of
December, 1983, at which meeting it tentatively proposes to
adopt a concurrent ordinance as provided for in Section 4b of
Article 1435a, V.A.T.C.S., as amended, for the purpose of
creating a joint powers agency, pursuant to said Article
1435a, to be known as the Lone Star Municipal Power Agency.
It is proposed that the said Agency shall include the
territory within the corporate limits of the Cities of
Caldwell, College Station, Kirbyville and Newton, or within
the boundaries of two or more of such public entities who so
adopt a concurrent ordinance. Upon the effective date of any
such concurrent ordinances the incorporated cities so
adopting them shall have created a public powers agency.
THIS NOTICE is issued and given at the direction of the
City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, this
10th day of November , 1983.

AVISO DE INTENCION DE ADOPTAR
UNA ORDENANZA CONCURRENTE
SE NOTIFICA POR EL PRESENTE que el Cabildo Municipal de
la CIUDAD DE COLLEGE STATION, Texas, se reunir~ en el Edifi-
cio del Municipio, College Station, Texas, a las 5:00 p.m.
del dla 6 de diciembre de 1983, en cuya reuni6n se propone
tentativamente adoptar una ordenanza concurrente seg6n lo
ordenado en la Secci6n 4b del Artlculo 1435a, V.A.T.C.S.,
segQn enmendado, con el prop6sito de crear una agencia de
fuerzas conjunta, en cumplimiento a dicho Artlculo 1435a, a
ser conocida como la Agencia Municipal de Fuerza Lone Star.
Se propone que dicha Agencia incluir~ el territorio
dentro de los limites corporativos de las Ciudades de
Caldwell, College Station, Kirbyville y Newton, o dentro de
los llmites de dos o m~s de dichas entidades p6blicas las
que por lo tanto adoptan una ordenanza concurrente. En la
fecha efectiva de cualquiera de dichas ordenanzas concu-
rrentes, las ciudades incorporadas que as~ las adopten
habr~n creado una agencia de fuerzas p6blica.
ESTE AVISO es emitido y efectuado por la direcci6n del
Cabildo Municipal de la Ciudad de College Station, Texas,
este dla diez de Noviembre de 1983.
