The Villas of Harvey Subdivision and the Northgate Area

Staff Present: Eric Ploeger, Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation;
Kristin Lehde, Staff Assistant; Charles Wood, Assistant Economic Development
Director.
Board Me r bers Present: John Nichols, Chairman; Don Allison; Jodi Warner;
Glen Davis; Glenn Schroeder; Ken Livingston; Gary Erwin, Alternate.
Board Member Absent: Larry Farnsworth.
Guests: Bill Lero; Morris Hamilton; Joe Schultz.
1. Convene and call to order (Saint Mary's Catholic Center at
Northgate): Chairman John Nichols called the meeting to order at
4:05 p.m.
2. Tour of the Villas of Harvey Subdivision (Park Zone 4), and
discussion, consideration, and possible action regarding parks in
that z.ne: The Board met with Bill Lero, Morris Hamiton, and Joe Schultz,
and toured a proposed park land dedication for the Villas of Harvey,
located north of Highway 30, east of Veterans Park and Athletic Complex.
No action was taken on this item.
3. Tour of the Northgate Area (Park Zone 1), and discussions,
consideration, and possible action regarding parks in that zone: The
Board met with Assistant Economic Development Director, Charles Wood,
and discussed and toured potential park land in the Northgate area (refer
to attached map entitled Potential Park Locations and Improvements in
Northgate).
No action was taken on this item.
4, Adjourn: The meeting adjourned at 6:04 p.m.
