Howard Badgett purchased the lot at 208 Pershing Avenue for $511.88. He and his wife, Frances Ann, built a home on the lot, which was finished in 1935. • Captain W. Howard Badgett, born in 1906, was a Colonel in the US Army during WWII. He attended Texas A&M University and was an Architectural Engineering major from Denison, TX. It was transferred in February 2008, before Francis' passing, to Clay Koby and wife Amberly Kolby. Beginning in 2008, Clay Kolby Homebuilding, Inc., began remodeling 208 Pershing Ave. The original structure remained intact, while the remodel of the home expanded the master bedroom and added master bath, expanded the living area, remodeled the kitchen and remodeled throughout, and added garage and guest suite above garage.
