We were attempting to schedule a meeting of the Wolf Pen Creek Oversight Committee and the WPC TIF Board for December 13th, however, that date will not work out. Steve has suggested setting regular, quarterly meetings, on the third Tuesday of the month until this project is complete. At this time, these are the dates that will be tentatively scheduled: Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Noon; Tuesday, April 17th at Noon; Tuesday, July 17th at Noon; and Tuesday, October 16th at Noon. Please mark your calendars for the upcoming date in January and let me know your availability. Thank you. Thank you! Call to order. Chris Scotti, in Ron Gay's absence, called the WPC Oversight Committee to order; and, Sharon Colson called the WPC TIF Board to order at 12:15 p.m. 2. Pardon and possible action concerning requests for absences of members. One request for absence had been received from Ron Gay. James Massey moved to approve the request for absence submitted and Marsha Sanford seconded. The vote was called. All were in favor and the absence was pardoned. 3. Consideration, possible action, and discussion of minutes from last meeting of the Committee held on October 3, 2006. Kenny Mallard moved to approve the minutes from the October 3, 2006 regular meeting. Sharon Colson seconded the motion. The vote was called. All were in favor and the minutes were unanimously approved. 4. Consideration, possible action, and discussion regarding recent flood damage to the Wolf Pen Creek Corridor — Sheila Walker. A presentation was given showing the areas of concern and damage within the corridor. There was no cost estimate available and no source for funding as yet identified for the repairs that would be carried out. Discussion followed. No action was required at the present time. 5. Consideration, possible action, and discussion regarding a potential water feature and related development — Travis Martinek. A brief presentation was shown of a water feature concept which could be pursued through a development agreement, wherein the property owner would design and manage the water feature project and then turn it over to the city. None of the members present had any objections to moving forward from the concept presented to a proposal. No action was taken. 6. Discussion and possible action regarding future meeting dates and agenda items. Future Meeting Dates: • April 17, 2007 — Noon in City Hall Council Chambers or Wolf Pen Creek Building • July 17, 2007 — Noon at Wolf Pen Creek Building • October 16, 2007 — Noon in City Hall Council Chambers Future Agenda Items: • Drainage report; • Wolf Pen Creek Water Feature; and • Projects and programs underway in the corridor: - Park Land Dedication Projects - Tree project with the US Army Corp of Engineers - Amphitheater Improvement Project - Interpretive Signs - Trail Ranger Projects - Concert Series - Southwest Artists' Festival - Fun Runs 7.
