COHMISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL MEMDERS
We, the undersigned, do hereby request that the College Station
Planning and Zoning Commission and the College Station I~ity
Council Members consider the regulation of the location of home
satellite receiving dishes in neighborhood residential areas.
The proliferation of these dishes in residential areas is of
coacern to many property owners due to the fact that their
location is not regulated. It is felt by many that these satellite
dishes are an eyesore in residential areas and that their
location (in the front yards of homes in some cases) may
seriously affect the property value of surrounding homes and
detract from the general neighborhood atmosphere.
