Southland Park will be the
scene of action as the Community
Knights Society and other civic-
minded people in the community
'conduCt a work day at the plan-
ned Community Recreation Cen-
ter in College Station on Satur-
day, Mayor D. A. "Andy" Ander-
son reported today.
Site of the activity is the old
Lincoln School Building at County
'Road and Eleanor Street which
the City of College Station
acquired fro~ the A&M Consoli-
dated School Board on a ten-year I
lease basis. Replacement of brok- I
en windows, placement of new I
doors and general clean-up is I
planned from 8 :00 a.m. to 12 I

Parks and Recreation Committee
of the city. The adjacent area

Heading up the day's activities
is Lorenza Wilborn, President of
the Community Knights Society
