AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9. "SUBDIVISIONS". OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION. TEXAS. BY AMENDING
CERTAIN SECTIONS AS SET OUT BELOW. PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
DECLARING A PENALTY. AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION.
TEXAS:
PART I'
That Chapter 9. "Snb&wsions". of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station. Texas. be amended as sel out ~n Exhlb~t "A". attached hereto and made a
part of thts ordinance ['or all purposes
PART 2'
Thai ffany provisions of any secnon of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such holding shall ~n no way effect the vahdtty of the remaining
provismns or sectmns of this ordinance, wfuch shall remam ~n full force and
effect
PART 3:
That any person, firm. or corporation violating any of thc prows~ons of th~s
chapter shall be deemed gmlty of a m~sdemeanor, and upon conwctlon thereof
shall be punishable by a finc of not less than Twenty-five Dollars 1525 00) nor
more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2.000 00). Each day such vmlation shall
continue or be permdled to continue, shall be deemed a separale offense Said
Ordinance. being a penal ordinance, becomes effectwe ten (10) days at,er its date
of passage by the City Council. as provided by Section 35 of the Charter of Ihe

EXHIBIT "A"
That Chapter q, "Subdtwslons", Section 18, "Platting and Replatting Within Older Residential
Subdivisions", of the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of College Station, Texas. is hereby
amended by adding a subsection D as sel out hereafter to read as follows-
"18 D Section 18 shall not be apphcable to the following Plat application submttted to the City
of College Stauon on Monday. February 16, 2004, Record No 04-00500040 for the
creation oftwo (2) additional lots.
The purpose of this subsection ~s to exempt th~s property from the pmv~s~ons of Section
18 as provtded m this Plat, to allow the croatlon of two (21 addmonal lots. It ~s further
the intention of the Cl~y Council to mmnta~n the provisions of Section 18 as to thts
property as to any subsequent replattmg and the provts~ons of Section 18 as to other
pieces ofproper~y that are covered by Section 18."
