I. Call to order. II. Hear Visitors. III. Approval of minutes from August 26, 2019 meeting. IV. Welcome and comments by Chairman Frank Duchmasclo. V. City Age Demographic discussion led by Janet Wood. VI. Discussion on building update proposal and survey led by Clay David Hanks. VII. Goals Committee update and discussion led by Jerry Crockett. VIII. Discussion on the structure of city hierarchies in relation to Senior Centers. IX. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on Senior Services Coordinator Report regarding current and upcoming programs and events.  Sept. 11-Meyer Book Club Inaugural Meeting 10 am - noon  Sept. 18-Exploring History Lunch Lecture “Texas Law History” by Phil Banks @ Larry J Ringer Library  Sept. 20-Day Trip to Bellville  Sept. 26-Senior Dance with DJ Tom Byers 7-9 p.m.  Oct. 10-Meyer Book Club Meeting 10 am – noon Dial C for Chihuahua by Waverly Curtis  Oct. 24- Senior Fall Fest at the American Pavilion in Veteran’s Park X. Presentation, discussion, and possible action on future agenda items: A Committee member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting. XI. Adjourn. Trespass by License Holder With an Openly Carried Handgun. “Pursuant to Section 30.07, Penal Code (trespass by license holder with an openly carried handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter this property with a handgun that is carried openly”. Código Penal §30.07.
