Historic Preservation Committee
Monday, May 01, 2017 – 4:00 pm

The City Council may or may not attend the Historic Preservation Committee Regular Meeting.

1. Called to order and announced a Quorum at 4 p.m.
2. No absence requests were submitted.
3. The Historic Preservation Committee voted unanimously to approve the April minutes.
4. No Visitors were present.
5. A few questions came up regarding the College Station History Book, Kelly Kelbly will get in
contact with Council member Blanche Brick and get the answers and present them at the June
meeting.
Katherine Edwards has not been able to work on the Historic Home tour project much, but hopes to
finish it soon. Katherine will respond back to the owners that have questions. Gerald Burgner will
attempt to contact the 6 home owners that have not responded to the letter that was sent out.
Brooke now has an oral history intern to help her out.
6. Kelly Kelbly reported that Marci Rodgers will hand out the Exploring History Lunch Lecture
schedule at her booth during the Senior Expo.
7. No future historical programs or activities were discussed.
8. No future agenda items were discussed.
9. No historical items were brought for show and tell.
10. Meeting was adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
