• BRYAN COLLEGE STATION PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM ADVISORY BOARD
SEPTEMBER 18,2012
On the 18TH day of September, 2012 the Bryan College Station Public Library System Advisory Board
of the cities of Bryan and College Station,Texas met in regular meeting at the Larry Ringer Library, 1818
Harvey Mitchell Pkwy, College Station,TX 77845.
1. Edith Pequeno,Vice President, called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. and the following were
present:

3. Ms. Pequeno welcomed new members from College Station Don Hellriegel and Diane Rektorik. Other
attendees were Dr.Larry Koeninger,Library System Director;Kathy Nixie,Ringer Library Manager;
• Peter LaMontt, City of College Station; and Laura Mills,Adm.Assistant.
4. The previous meeting minutes of May were discussed. Motion made by Helen Kunz to approve the
minutes, seconded by Felicia Glover;the motion passed.
5. The monthly stats for May, June,July and August were reviewed.
6.A. In old business, Larry Koeninger provided a handout of the stats for the Summer Reading Program.
The programs were successful at both libraries.
B. Larry Koeninger stated that a contract with Arkitects to examine the building for modifications has
been approved by the council.
7. There was no new business.
8. Dr. Koeninger's librarian's report is attached.
9. Next meeting will be November 13, 2012 at the Carnegie History Center.
10. The meeting adjourned at 6:00pm.
