• BRYAN COLLEGE STATION PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM ADVISORY BOARD
January 15,2014
On the 15th day of January,2014,the Bryan College Station Public Library System Advisory Board of
the cities of Bryan and College Station,Texas met in regular meeting at the Clara B. Mounce Public
Library,201 E. 26th Street,Bryan,Texas. -
1. Larry Ringer,President,called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. and the following were present:

3. Other guests were Ty Elliott, auditor for the City of College Station Gary Ives. Larry Ringer
introduced two new board members,Jackie Kowalski and Mary Joy Venuti.
4. The previous meeting minutes of November 2013 were approved as distributed.
5. The monthly stats for November and December 2013 were reviewed.
• 6. In old business,Ty Elliott informed the Board of the progress of the Ringer Library audit. He was
very complimentary of the staff and stated that the staff is unified in their concerns for the expansion of
the building.
7. The budget process will begin for both cities very soon. Dr.Koeninger said that he will be requesting
additional funding from College Station for books and ebooks.
8. Dr.Koeninger's librarian's report is attached.
9. Next meeting will be March 19,2014 at the Carnegie History Center.
10. The meeting adjourned at 6:15 pm.
