On the 19th of July, 1978, the Library Board of the City of Bryan, Texas convened
in regular session in the regular meeting place in the Reference Room located in
the Library Building at 5 p.m. with the following members present.

ITEM I: The minutes of the June meeting were approved as written.
ITEM 2: The statistics were examined and discussed.
ITEM 3: The booklist was accepted.
ITEM 4: Mr. Bryan reported about Mr. Fred Eubank, who will serve as a collection agent
for overdue library materials. He will tentatively begin working for the library
on October 1, 1978, on a trial basis.
ITEM 5: Mr. Bryan complimented the librarian on the job she has been performing.
ITEM 6: The proposed budget was discussed.
ITEM 7 : The librarian and Library Board examined the poor condition of .:the= libr.ary's
basement. The Board will recommend further action at the next meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
