OCTOBER 11, 1978

On the 11th of October, 1978, the Library Board of the City of Bryan, Texas convened
in regular session in the regular meeting place in the Reference Room located in the
Library Building at 5 p.m. with the following members present.

ITEM 1: The minutes of the September meeting were approved as written.
ITEM 2: The booklist_was-accepted.
ITEM 3: The Fine-Free Book Campaign was discussed and extended through October 20th.
ITEM 4: The revised book inventory and statistical forms were examined. It was noted
the current volume of books stands at 85,660.
ITEM 5: Copies of the annual budget for 1978-79 were distributed.
ITEM 6: Mrs. Pringle discussed the heavy usage of the library by the Blinn College
sutdents. She also described a visit to the Blinn campus in Brenham. Mr.
Bryan agreed to contact Mr. Atkinson, President of the College, to inquire
about possible funding.
The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
