OF THE BRYAN LIBRARY BOARD
DECEMBER 13, 1978

CITY OF BRYAN:
On the 13th of December, 1978, the Library Board of the City of Bryan, Texas convened
in regular session in the regular meeting place in the Reference Room located in the
Library Building at 5 p.m. with the following members present.

ITEM 1: The minutes of the November meeting were approved as written.
ITEM 2: The booklist was accepted.
ITEM 3: It was announced that the $15,000 check from College Station was received
and deposited into the Restricted Gifts Account for the purchase of books;
ITEM 4: Copies of Resolution 179 passed by the Bryan City Council authorizing the Mayor
to request financial assistance from Blinn College for the use of the Bryan
Public Library by Blinn College Students were distributed.
ITEM 5: There was a discussion on requests from local groups to use the library facilities
on Sundays (i.e. new church starts) . It was decided to adhere to the library's
public service hours policy.
The meeting adjourned at 5:45.
