41k . On the 16TH of Nov . 16 , 1993 the Library Board of the City of Bryan , Texas
convened in a regular session at the College Station Branch Library at 5 : 25
p .m. The following members were present :

Also present was Mrs . Clara B . Mounce, City Librarian , Librarians present
were Ms . Angela Alford , Ms. Kathleen Dill , and Mrs . Nan Ross .
3 . There were no visitors .
4 . The minutes were approved with one correction.
5 . The statistics for September and October were provided in the mailout .
6 . Progress on fund raising for the Carnegie was discussed . The City has
applied for a grant through the Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program
provided by the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991
( ISTEA) in the Historic Preservation category . The city would contribute
'20%, $124 , 348 , if the project is selected for funding of 80% of total project
_cost of $621 , 740 . Grant announcements are expected in January or February of
1994 .
7 . As a tour was scheduled for the branch , the Librarians gave no reports .
8 . A. There was no unfinished business .
9 . A. Ms . Alford conducted a short tour of the branch facility and described
where new shelving will be installed before the end of the calendar year .
10 . Mrs . Mounce asked that the January agenda include a discussion of
attendance by Library Board members and what time the meetings should start .
11 . The meeting adjourned at 6 : 25 p .m.
