MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING
• OF THE BRYAN LIBRARY BOARD
September 17 , 1991
1 . On the 17th of September 1991 , the Library Board of the City of
Bryan, Texas convened in a regular session in the College Station
Branch Library at 5 : 00 P .M. and the following members were present :

Also present were Mrs . Clara B . Mounce, City Librarian; Ms . Alice
Nixon , Associate City Librarian, and Ms . Mary Henshaw, Branch
Librarian .
3. Visitors were Dr . John Blackburn, Director Community Services in
Bryan and Mr . Charlie Shear , Assistant Director of Management
• Services in College Station, and Lucinda Hill , Library Assistant at
the Branch .
4. The minutes of the July 16 , 1991 meeting were approved as
presented .
5 . The statistics for July and August, 1991 were provided in the
mailout .
6 . There were no committee reports .
7 . In the librarian ' s report , Mrs . Mounce announced the final version
of the College Station branch budget. A second professional
librarian has been approved , along with a 20 hour clerk and a 30
hour clerk . In addition the two part time clerks will be moved to
full time status on Oct . 1 .
8 . There was no unfinished business .
9 . Ms . Mary Henshaw, Branch librarian, conducted a 30 minute tour of
the branch facilities and services .
10 . There were no requests for items for the agenda.
11 . The meeting adjourned at 6 : 00 p .m.
