Historic Preservation Committee
Monday,March 07,2016—4:00 pm
The City Council may or may not attend the Historic Preservation Committee Regular Meeting

Jared Donnelly; Historic Records Coordinator
1. Called to order and announced a Quorum @ 4 pm.
2. Annette Naylor requested to be absent, committee approved request.
3. The committee voted unanimously to approve the minutes.
4. Jerry Cooper and Tina Evans attended the meeting as visitors.
5. Gabby Salazar will meet with Jeff at Acme Brick and try to match the original brick as close as
possible.
No new Historic Marker applications were received.
Jared reported that his intern Brooke has finished her internship and did a great job and
accomplished a great amount of scanning. He will be asking Council to hopefully double the amount
of money for internships.
No Oral I-Iistory interviews to report, and this line item will be left off future agendas until further
notice.
The committee talked about being more aggressive with finding sponsors for the monthly meal
during lunch lecture.
The City is moving along with the update to the City Website, our goal is to make the Historical
Website user friendly and compatible with a mobile device.

7. No upcoming events mentioned.

9. Lou Hodges mentioned to the new members that they could bring items of historic nature for the
committee to look at if they wanted to.
