Senior Center Sub-Committee Meeting

Members Present: Rick Heaney, Ray Reed, Ron Silvia, Joanna Yeager, Neal Nutall and Robert
Meyer
Staff Present: Marci Rodgers, Senior Services Coordinator
I. Call to order Rick Heaney led the meeting and will report to the Senior Advisory
Committee at the next regular meeting.
II. Discussion, consideration and possible action on goals and objectives for the
committee. Members agreed that the purpose of this sub-committee is to market the
Senior Center for the bond election. The group decided that organizations and groups
that would be possible users should be contacted. These organizations would be
given a brief overview of the design and space available and then asked if they would
consider using the facility. The sub-committee would like to gather a list of
organizations from members and then make contacts. The support base would be
presented to the CIP Citizens Committee.
The next meeting will be at 9:00am on Monday, December 17th prior to the Regular
Meeting of the Senior Advisory committee at the Exit Teen Center.
III. Adjourn The meeting ended at 10:25am
