Board Members Present: Larry Farnsworth; Glen Davis; Bill Davis; Don Allison. Board Member Absent: John Nichols, Chairman; Glenn Schroeder; Jodi Warner. 1. Convene and call to order: The Board convened at 3:00 PM, at the Central Park Office (1000 Krenek Tap Road). 2. Tour of Zone 10: The Board toured Zone 10, which includes the following sites: Edelweiss Gartens, Westfield Park, Shenandoah Park, and the greenway adjacent to the Alexandria Subdivision. O Edelweiss Gartens has three (3) net usable acres. Access to the park will be on Victoria and other neighborhood streets. * Westfield connects Cypress Grove school with Victoria. O Residents of the Alexandria Subdivision would like to have a small park located on the greenway adjacent to the subdivision. However, there is only one place that the site could be located, and it is right by the street. Eric Ploeger anticipates that if a park were built in that location, a sidewalk would also need to be constructed for the safety of children who would be using the park. An alternative park site for this subdivision would be Westfield Park, or possibly the Cypress Grove school. * Shenandoah has frontage on all sides of the park. No motion was made during the tour. 3. Adjourn: The tour adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
