ROCK PRAIRIE "MANAGEMENT DISTRICT NO.2;
NOTICE OF SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING
Notice is hereby given to all interested members of the public that the Board of Directors:
of the above captioned District will hold a special public meeting at 809 University Drive East,
Suite 101A, College Station, Brazos County, Texas 77840, said address being a meeting place, of
the District. The meeting will be held on Thursday, April. 20, 2017, at 12:00 noon. The City
Council of College Station, Texas may or may not attend the Publie ;Meeting. The Board,
shall consider and discuss the following matters and take any action appropriate with respect to
such matters:
1. Review and approve minutes of the November 13, 2015, Board of Directors meeting;
2, Ratify actions taken on behalf of the Board and District, including:
a. Renewal of the District's insurance coverages for policy term of July 30, 2016
through July 30, 2017;
b. Completion, execution and filing with the Secretary of State of Voting System
Annual Filing Form relative to District elections-,
c. Completion and filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental'Quality and
with the Comptroller of Public Accounts of the District's Annual .Financial Report
for fiscal years ended May 31, 2016;
d. Completion and filing with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts of the
District's Eminent Domain Report, pursuant to §2206.154, Texas Government
Code;
e. Acceptance of Special Warranty Deed froni'Collegei Station Town Centex, L. :
("CSTC") to District, conveying 5.903 ..acres for Lakeway Drive -44d
f. Approval of Special Warranty Deed from District; to City of College Station,
conveying 5:903 acres for Lakeway Drive
1 Authorize request to City of College Station for re -appointment and/or replacementof;
directors to the Board of Directors of the: District;
4 Consider engagement of Tax Assessor -Collector for the District and the approval and
execution of`a Contract in connection therewith,. including acceptance of Texas Ethics
Commission Form 1295,
5. Bookkeeper's Report;
64, Discussion relating to the production and filing' of District Financing Reports. pursuant' to
Section 140.008 `texas Local government Code, and. selection of, method. of compliance
therewith;
7, Authorize completion and filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality
and the Comptroller. of Public Accounts of the District's Annual Financial Report for
fiscal year eliding May 31, 2017;
8 Resolution Adopting, List: of Qualified Broker ,Authorized to Engage in Investment
