AN ORDINANCE CREATING A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR THE YEAR 19!9 AND FIXING
TIME OF MEETING.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
Section 1. The Board of Equalization for the year 1949 shall be
composed of the following: E. 0. Siecke, Chairman, W. I. Truettner and
R. J. Bond.
Section 2. The Board shall meet May 2, 1949 or at such later date
as the City Manager may set -- to begin its deliberations, and shall meet as
often thereafter as it deems necessary.
Section 3. This Board of Equalization shall work jointly insofar as
possible with a similar board to be appointed by the Board of Trustees of
A. & M. Consolidated School.
Passed and approved by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas, April 11, 1949.
